The Nikon EM is a compact, entry-level 35 mm SLR introduced by Nikon (then Nippon Kogaku) in 1979, aimed at newcomers to SLR photography.
Designed by famed Italian stylist Giorgetto Giugiaro, it sported a sleek all-black finish and measured just 135 × 54 × 86 mm, weighing a light 460 g.
Fitted with a Tamron AF 28–105 mm zoom lens.
